VICE PRESIDENT
Cecelia Valentine
  • serve as President in their absence
  • submit annual form to library to reserve meeting room for the year
  • schedule/reserve the room for all meetings
  • prepare meeting room before each meeting
  • place furniture back to its original location at the conclusion of all meetings
  • plan and coordinate all Artist Development Series events
  • preside at 90% of AGMF business meetings and Board of Officers meetings
SECRETARY
Pat Mitchell
  • attend and record the proceedings of all board and membership meetings
  • maintain an accurate attendance record
  • type up all meeting minutes and distribute to the membership via email or hardcopy if necessary
  • preside at 90% of AGMF business meetings and Board of Officers meetings
TREASURER
Gregory Juris
  • prepare and monitor Guild’s budget
  • maintain Guild’s account
  • submit financial reports to the President on a monthly basis
  • prepare and submit the financial reports to the IRS for the non-profit status for the Guild
  • handle all donations
  • preside at 90% of AGMF business meetings and Board of Officers meetings
DEVELOPMENT
Pete Zielinski
  • plan and coordinate an annual membership drive/campaign
  • coordinate all new member registrations, update and maintain membership lists, and t-shirt distribution
  • coordinate all Guild logo merchandise
  • establish routine to distribute brochures/posters in the community
  • publicize in the local media about Guild events and successes
  • preside at 90% of AGMF business meetings and Board of Officers meetings
GUILD AMBASSADOR
Maggie Brooks
  • Function as the main contact for community awareness
  • plan and coordinate fundraising events
  • acquire and maintain partnerships within our community with businesses/corporations
  • plan and coordinate public relations activities
  • promote good relations and awareness within the community
  • plan and coordinate the Annual Guild Summer Picnic
  • preside at 90% of AGMF business meetings and Board of Officers meetings

Monthly E-News:

  • request information from members to be submitted; upcoming events, due dates, opportunities, member news to share

Annual Newsletter:

  • create and maintain the layout and design of the annual newsletter, The Artists Corner, one time a year

internal relations
Pat Hoffman
  • maintain correspondence within the Guild
  • send thank-you's, happy birthday's, get-well, and sympathy cards to our members
  • if possible, provide light refreshments for the business meetings
exhibits
Terra Paulsen-Chmielewski

plan, coordinate, and arrange the exhibitions for the Guild, including:

  • arranging the exhibit facility, date & location, jurors (if needed), as well as drop-off and pick-up dates/times
  • preparing the exhibition list of artwork
  • relaying any needed information for publicity to the facility and providing information at the meetings
  • create exhibit tags, posters, flyers, certificates, program, and other items as needed to accomplish these tasks

  • create and maintain Guild website
  • request information from Guild members and work with all Chairs to acquire updated information to display on the site

  • develop relationships between businesses and the Guild
  • pursue exhibit/event sponsorships and secure business memberships
  • seek business discounts for Guild members

  • develop and sustain Youth Scholarship Fund, Youth Exhibition, and Youth Mentoring Program

  • prepare the annual historical record through photos and events
  • maintain the Guild’s scrapbook
  • acquire updated information from Guild members as needed
