The Art Guild's “Youth Art Month Coloring Contest” is here again. The Guild sends out a coloring page to be distributed within all Menomonee Falls' parochial and public schools. Look for it in your child's backpack! This year's page reads "Be Yourself, Be Creative!" In our inaugural year, 2011, we received 94 qualified entries from six different schools!

There are two age categories: Kindergarten – 2nd Grade and 3rd – 5th Grade. Entries must be received in our PO Box between Feb.1st and March 30th. All entries must be filled out completely including their age, grade and parents' phone number / mailing address. Six winners will receive cash prizes! Prizes for each age category are $15 -1st, $10 -2nd, and $5 -3rd place. Winning artists will receive a certificate and check in the mail, plus their work displayed on our webpage and during Art in the Park.

Entries from last year were done exceptionally well making judging very difficult. Menomonee Falls has a great number of budding artists and we hope many of them continue to enter this contest and encourage others to join them. Young artists... start your coloring!!!
