Self-taught artist Mike Pogorzelski's next goal is to learn to blend more emotional meaning into his paintings, hopefully inspiring a change in the way the viewer looks at the world. "Good art can engage both our emotional and intellectual centers to give us new energies, uplift us, and provide a window into the experience of others."
Mike has sold a number of paintings through the years. His works have been displayed at the Forest Home Library, MATC, Purloin Gallery and at almost every Art Guild exhibit. Mike credits the Art Guild with providing him a means to show his work, exposing him to new ideas and techniques that has serve as a great impetus to branch out and become a better artist, and with enlightening him through the artist demonstrations.
