Since 2006, Art in the Park has offered a refreshing look at the creative talent of our community. In 2024, we debuted an even bigger community event and combined with Falls Art at Large to create the annual Falls Festival of the Arts. The festival hosts local, regional and state artists, art demonstrations, kids’ art zone, live music, food trucks, beer garden, performing acts, street performers, and a community art project.
The Art Guild took the Falls Festival of Arts by storm—splashing the festival with color, creativity, and a whole lot of artistic magic!
We couldn’t be more proud of our talented Guild members who painted, sculpted, created, demonstrated, and shared their incredible work throughout the festival.
Plein Air Competition
Our artists brought their talents outdoors and captured the beauty of the festival in spectacular fashion! Mary Drabiszczak painted her way to First Place in the Main Competition and also took home the win in the Festival Category—talk about a masterpiece of a day! Pete Zielinski earned Third Place, while Jerry Higgins, Mary D’Agostino, and Lisa Moore also joined the competition and brought their creative talents to the canvas.
Flower Sculpture Competition
Creativity was in full bloom! Jerry Higgins earned Second Place, Lisa Moore took Third Place, and Brady Poetzel captured everyone’s heart as the People’s Choice Winner. A huge shout-out also goes to Stacie Estrada, Cindy August, Meena Vijay, Barbara Radovanovich, and Lindsay Bullis, who helped bring their own flower sculptures to life with imagination, color, and plenty of artistic flair!
Art in the Park
And what would the festival be without our very own creative corner? Our talented Guild artists filled the Art in the Park section with beautiful artwork, live demonstrations, creativity, and inspiration—while sharing and selling their work throughout the day!
