A lover of the arts, Liz Rhodebeck has been involved with several community ekphrastic projects. “Ekphrastic” is art or poetry inspired by another creative medium. This synergy of the arts is nothing new; a story or poem can lead to music interpreting it, which in turn may lead to an expression in a dramatic ballet. The collaboration of the arts can bring a deeper creative understanding across disciplines as well as surprising and satisfying imaginative results.
