Art in the Park at Falls Festival of the Arts

Falls Fest Plaza at Village Park, Menomonee Falls
10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Since 2006, Art in the Park has offered a refreshing look at the creative talent of our community. In 2024, we debuted an even bigger community event and combined with Falls Art at Large to create the annual Falls Festival of the Arts. The festival hosts local, regional and state artists, art demonstrations, kids’ art zone, live music, food trucks, beer garden, performing acts, street performers, and a community art project.

We are so excited for this year! Starting August 14th, downtown will come alive with artists as we lead up to the main event! Community Flower Sculptures will be popping up and blooming with color. Business windows will become artists’ canvases as they Paint the District. We have 18 Guild members participating in Falls Festival of the Arts, showcasing and selling their artwork! Registration for the Plein Air Competition is still open! If you’re interested in joining other Guild artists with a booth,  painting Plein Air or volunteering, please contact Lissa Rolenc at lissarolenc@gmail.com. Looking forward to seeing everyone that week and August 22 for a fantastic day of art, music entertainment and fun!

One of the advantages of your Art Guild membership is free participation for a 10×10 display booth located in the Mill Pond area. Members are also granted entry without going through the jury process required of other artists. The Art Guild was well-represented at the Festival this year with 17 artists displaying a wide variety of art including paintings, metal works, wood works, jewelry, ceramics and mixed-media.

Many Art Guild members also participated in the 2025 Festival competitions: Plein Air (6), Chalk Art (1) and Metal Dragonfly Sculpture painting (10). Congratulations to the following Art Guild winners in each of those events:

Plein Air
Mary Beth Drabisczcak, Best of Show
Lisa Moore, Honorable Mention

Dragonfly Sculpture
Lisa Moore, 1st
Stacie Estrada, 2nd
Jerry Higgins, 3rd

Chalk Art
Paige Wajer, 2nd

We recorded outstanding—near record—sales to raise funds for our Art Camp Scholarship! Thanks to all those that contributed canvases and helped staff our tent this year.

Thank you, members! We are proud of your involvement and look forward to repeating again in August of 2026!
